Meet Dr. Linda Fauz, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Linda Fauz is a New York State–licensed audiologist and the founder of Aura Audiology. Her clinical experience includes comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing-aid consultations and fittings, device programming and adjustments, patient counseling, and ongoing hearing care. She is especially interested in helping adults and older adults navigate hearing changes with clear guidance and solutions that support their everyday communication needs.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College, where her studies focused on speech, language, hearing sciences, psychology, and communication. During her undergraduate career, she participated in a National Science Foundation–supported research fellowship focused on speech, language, and listener perception.
Dr. Linda Fauz later earned her Doctor of Audiology degree through the New York Doctor of Audiology Consortium at Adelphi University. Her doctoral research examined the relationship between binaural hearing-aid use and cognitive function in older adults, strengthening her interest in hearing, communication, and healthy aging.
She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Through Aura Audiology, she provides thoughtful, evidence-based care that is personal, clear, and designed around each patient’s individual needs.

For many adults and older adults, getting to an audiology office is not always simple. Transportation, mobility concerns, busy family schedules, and the realities of living in a care community can all make an important appointment feel difficult to arrange.
I believed there should be another option—one that brings professional hearing care closer to the patient without sacrificing the quality, attention, or clinical standards they deserve.
That belief became AURA Audiology.

Hearing care is personal. It affects how people communicate with their families, participate in daily life, and stay connected to the people around them.
Yet appointments can sometimes feel rushed or focused only on completing a test. The most meaningful parts of care often happen in the conversations before and after the testing—when a patient has time to explain what has been difficult, ask questions, and truly understand the recommendations being made.
Those moments deserve more than a rushed appointment.
AURA Audiology was created to offer care that is thoughtful, accessible, and built around the individual. By providing services in private homes, senior living communities, and care facilities, I am able to meet patients in an environment that is familiar, comfortable, and relevant to their everyday communication needs.
